We’re an independent lab in Austin, TX for board‑level repair and data recovery. If a free manufacturer program covers your issue, we’ll tell you to use it. If we’re not the best fit, we’ll tell you that too.

We teach openly, stock donor parts to avoid delays, and quote transparently. Most work is visible with straightforward pricing.

Our story

Rossmann Repair Group was founded in 2008 by Louis Rossmann after walking out of a dishonest repair shop that tried to break a customer’s device to avoid paying for a repair.

Starting with $250 in equipment in Midtown Manhattan, Louis performed repairs for live audiences while explaining the technical details: education that shaped our philosophy.

In 2020, we moved to Austin, Texas, escaping NYC bureaucracy while doubling down on in‑house, component‑level repairs and data recovery.

What's your warranty?

Most repairs: 1-year. Some specific repairs: 3 months.

Can you recover my data?

Usually, yes; Macs that won't power, liquid damage, HDD/SSD, iPhone, Android, SD/microSD, NAS/RAID and more.

Are you Apple-authorized?

No. Independence lets us do component-level work and recover data others can't.
