Can you recover data from a MacBook that won't turn on?

Yes. We do board-level work to bring the logic board to a readable state or interface with storage chips to extract your files. If the critical storage silicon is intact, there's a good chance we can retrieve your data.

Does the T2 or Apple Silicon (M1/M2) chip prevent recovery?

Not necessarily. While storage is tied to the logic board & the T2 chip encrypts the data. This means we need to get the machine to a functional-enough state to retrieve data. We specialize in board-level repair and chip-level access to make the data readable again. If the storage/T2 silicon is physically destroyed, recovery may be impossible, but many 'dead' boards are recoverable.

How long does MacBook data recovery take?

Most cases complete in 2-5 business days once we begin. Timing depends on the failure and parts availability. We'll give you a realistic estimate after a free evaluation, and rush options are available.

Will my MacBook be fully repaired after recovery?

Our primary goal is to get your data. Often, the logic board repair used to access data also restores normal function, but data extraction does not guarantee full device refurbishment. We'll advise on repair options if you want the laptop restored.

Bring or ship the complete MacBook. We need the full machine to verify functions and safely access storage on soldered-SSD models. Include your contact info and any symptoms observed.

Is my data private?
